Pan African University

The African Union has moved to establish universities of excellence to be known as Pan African University . three Pan African Universities will be created in three African countries to tap into raw African talent in basic sciences, technology and innovation. They will also include earth and life sciences including health and agriculture which is the maintain stay of most African countries. (…) the first three institutes of the Pan African University, will be the Western Africa Pan African University- Institute of Earth and Life Sciences which will be hosted at the Ibadan University in Nigeria. The Eastern African one to be known as the Institute of Basic Science, Technology and Innovation will be hosted at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology while the University of Younde will host the Institute of Governance, Humanities and Social Sciences (…) two other Pan African Universities to be identified this year, will be that of Water and Energy Sciences including Climate Change to be hosted in the North African Region while the Space Science University will be established in the Southern African Region.
